The Winner of All-Star Survivor Is???

By Rich Glanzer

Amber Brkich. How do I know this? I have not seen one preview, spoiler or know Amber personally. But I think she's in the perfect tribe, for her. Depending on the challenge, Chapera will either be the strongest or weakest tribe. There is no, "Alpha Male" as Survivor host Jeff Probst likes to say. So challenges that involve an ending of a one person strength show will be tough for this group. But the three females are arguably the three strongest and athletic among the nine. Amber finished 2nd to Colby a couple of times in physical challenges during her original Survivor stint. Alicia is obviously in tremendous shape. And Sue Hawk certainly can lift a rock, stick, or anything else longer than Shii Ann.

So why is this good news for Amber? Because I think the three women of Chapera will recognize this, and vote off a man first. I think they'll realize they can't trust either Rob, and one of them will be the first to go. This will give a 3-2 edge for the women, and they wont relinquish that edge until one of the many swerves that are promised.

This means Amber should make it to the final 10 or so. Once the merge hits, Amber has the perfect body. She's not too strong so others will perceive her as a threat, and she's not too weak where she's incapable of winning an important challenge. So Amber has the ability to slide under the radar, and win a perceived lucky challenge every once in awhile. Just like Jenna Morasca did in Survivor the Amazon.

The question is, Is Amber cut throat enough? Back in the 2nd Survivor, she missed a golden opportunity to split from her original tribe, and merge with Rodger and Elisabeth. But she kept to herself and did what she was told to do. Survivor 2 is ancient history. I have a feeling Amber cant believe her luck to be even included on All-Stars. Reportedly Colleen and Elisabeth both declined, which opened up the door for Amber. I think all 18 Survivor's are going to be more cut throat then ever, which will be a plus for Amber, because many people might be able to be taken by surprise by her.

So if Amber is willing to be the fourth person of a five person alliance, and then willing to switch alliances to be the third person of a four person alliance, and so on and so on, she may slide right into the finals. Then if she's lucky, she'll face a man, who has upset and offended far more many people. Which would make Amber the, "Ultimate Survivor."

Or the men can finally realize a woman keeps winning because they team up to oust all the guys. And then who knows who will win? But for now, I'll stick with Amber Brkich. And with her now found fortune, maybe she can buy a vowel!
