Episode 14

Day to day, 24/7 living together are really starting to get to the players now. Shii Ann, Rupert and Big Tom all express there dislike of Jenna in this episode, as well as Jenna stating her dislike of Shii Ann. Shii Ann also feeling alienated in this group of six, DUH!!! I'm really surprised it has taken her this long to figure that one out. But I am sure it is just the editing that makes it seem this way.
Never the less, tension is building, personalities are clashing and people are just rubbing each other the wrong way. Well except for Rob and Amber. They still seem to be rubbing each other in all the right ways.
Rupert's comments about feeling used and abused, due to all the work and fishing he does, really makes no sense. This is not the first time any of these people are playing and they should already know how things work. You contribute, based on your skills and attributes, to the tribe and don't whine about it.
Everybody always loves the family episode. You get to see the players loved ones and get a little insight to there background. Jenna and Rob's brothers are the only two that I know personally and it was nice to see them on TV. But knowing them, it was definitely Jenna's brothers game to lose. If he did not take that sip of water, there is no doubt in my mind that he would have won that challenge. He is one hard core guy. But he was disqualified and it was Bucky Bo that won it all. I do understand why Tom picked Rob and Mike to join them. He wanted to have a fun care free night and that was the right choice for that.
Now we get to a touchy subject. Rob's comments, first about Lex and then about Bo. So far in this season the editing has been very favorable to Rob. I know him very well and know that he has said many things that have not been aired. His analogy of what he did to Lex was rough to say the least and the comments about Bo were uncalled for and outside the game. But brother Mike gave some sound advice to not totally trust Amber. I truly think that Rob has nothing to worry about there.
The boys went back to camp with Rob and Tom and went right to work, well at least Bo did. On the construction site and Mike's office they may be hard workers, but on any island those Mariano boys really take it easy.
I have to touch on one other thing. Bo lost one of the spears. Rupert treats this as almost losing a child. "My spear". Me, me, me, I, I, I. For a guy that is always talking about the team, the tribe, unity, etc... Don't be fooled, to him it is all about Rupert. We saw some of this in the Pearl Islands. Remember, "My island" and "My adventure". I wonder if he really understands the concept of a team or a tribe.
Immunity was won by Big Tom and the mad scramble followed. Well, it was only a scramble by Shii Ann. She was definitely the one who was going and the only one that had to try and maneuver. It was a futile attempt, but she did some good work on her way out at Tribal Council. Is she the only one of the final six that could see what Amber is doing?
Amber and Big Tom are the only two that have made it this far before. All the rest are in foreign territory.
I guess it is time for my insight as we get to the final two shows. As I see it, Big Tom had his last "Ho Down" in last weeks episode. I believe that he will be the next to go, followed by Rupert. Leaving us with Rob, Amber and Jenna as the final three. Now barring any unforeseen circumstances, Jenna and Amber will want to sit next to Rob in the final two chairs. I don't see any way Rob can win this game. No matter who he sits next to, that is if he gets to that point, Rob has burned too many bridges and that jury will be unforgiving. Rob has been the stud of this show, but just ask Colby if that will guarantee you the million dollars.
