If Ulong were a horse…

By Rich Glanzer

It’s time to put us, the viewers of Survivor and Ulong out of our misery. Last season on the Apprentice, Donald Trump was so fed up with two of his employees, he fired them both. Maybe Jeff Probst should take a bucket and douse Stephanie’s, Ibrehem, and Bobby Jon’s torch himself. The Washington Generals would have a better chance of beating the Harlem Globetrotters, than Ulong has in beating Koror in an immunity challenge.

But at least there’s a new Survivor tradition. No, I’m not talking about Ulong blaming one another. I’m talking about Stephanie changing her mind after a tie, and switching her vote. I mean it makes perfect sense. Anger as many people as you can. Stephanie, what are you thinking?? It probably won’t matter, since the remaining three will get picked off one by one, but why not stay with Bobby Jon, and get rid of James, then Ibrehem. Now Bobby Jon can’t trust you, and WHEN they lose next week, you’ll be the next to go.

The sad thing is, a merge probably won’t help her either, since she maybe the strongest player in the game. She obviously can swim, shoot and fight, so she’s a physical threat. It will take a miracle for any of the three to survive.

However miracles do come true on Survivor. But they need some conflict on the other tribe first. And in order for that to happen, they must win next week, if there’s no merge or split. Kuror hasn’t really begun playing the game, because they’ve yet to make decisions. Of course they’ve stratagized, but until the you know what hits the fan, it’s just talk. This is what killed Long Island Rob in All Stars. He never had to make a plan, because his tribe kept winning. When they finally lost, the tribe was set and it was too late.

Unfortunately, Ulong’s pathetic ness has made this Survivor season very boring and predictable. The challenges have been awesome for the most part, and some of the cast has been great; specifically Tom and Stephanie. But it’s hard to even make predictions because you really haven’t seen Koror’s inner workings yet.

Hopefully, Ulong can pull off a miracle and beat Janu, Caryn, and Katie in kickboxing or something. But I doubt it. It’s just a very good thing that Ulong is a tribe, and not a horse.
