Survivor Poems
Survivor Vanuatu
by Michele Kevany
"Survivor" nine will unfold in the "ring of fire"
Who will be Vanuatu's most devious liar
Tribes this time are Lopevi and Yasur
One is a "His" and the other a "Hers"
Somebody's mind is going to turn screwy
Will it be Lea? or Mia? or possibly Julie?
Each and every survivor's fate is in doubt
If you don't believe me, ask Travis or Scout
Eliza or Lisa could be the first to go
Like a volcano, you just never know
A friend, an alliance could be suddenly mistook
One day it's Chris, and the next day it's Brook
Deals will be made, both righteous and shady
Then broken by Twila? or Ami? or Brady?
Tempers will flare, the mood wont be jolly
Which could be bad for Chad, not cool for Dolly
Be it Rory or Leann, the question at hand
Who will it be? John K. or John P.?
Episode One
by Michele Kevany
"Survivor:Vanuatu" began on the rim
Of Yasur volcano with Jeff's dimpled grin
A "rite of passage" would invite them to stay
The survivors must partake before they can play
Campsites were found and shelters were started
Though at Yasur some efforts were merely half-hearted
Lopevi got an ember but no fire to be had
And were informed of the mechanical leg on Chad
One challange would grant both Immunity and Reward
Do the crawl, drop the ball, don't fall off that board
In the end Yasur got the idol and the fire
Leaving Lopevi standing in the muck and the mire
Tribal Council convened and the votes were cast
One man will loose his chance to "outlast"
Chris and Rory got votes but neither was took
The torch that Jeff snuffed belonged to Brook
Episode Two
by Michele Kevany
Conditions at Lopevi were becoming dire
Try as they may, they still had no fire
Yasur found a chicken to be their foil and folly
While bugs in their food was just too much for Dolly
For Reward the teams hoped that they would stay dry
You'll sleep warm and cozy if you slide on by
It was too close for comfort for the Lopevi men
The Yasur women took the prize yet again
For their tribes Scout and Lea had orders to bark
At blindfolded teammates left in the dark
The "Spirit Stone" 's luck might have shimmered a glint
Lopevi won Immunity and got the flint
Yasur's first Tribal Council was solemn and tense
With one woman proclaiming to be on the fence
Leann got four votes but was spared by golly
The torch that Jeff snuffed belonged to Dolly
Episode Three
by Michele Kevany
On night six some at Yasur were feeling betrayed
They put Eliza on the hot seat for the choice she had made
The next morning little Mia gave Twila a mighty bellow
The tribe color may be yellow, but the mood was hardly mellow
At Lopevi the numbers were held by those who were older
Which made the campaign by John P. grow even bolder
Rory thought a walk would yield fruits for his labor
But Sarge and the others were annoyed by his behavior
The two tribes gathered to compete for fishing gear
Then Jeff served up a twist that they did not want to hear
Along with the Reward came a coveted opportunity
The winning tribe would get a chance at individual Immunity
Lopevi won after they squeezed their last man out the gate
Then dug for rungs to build a ladder which could decide their fate
The Yasur women were told the man wearing the necklace had the say
On one he would bestow Immunity and that man was John K.
Two seperate Tribal Councils commenced beginning with Lopevi
For those without the necklace fear and dread was looming heavy
The ladies joined John K. who placed Immunity on Ami's neck
He wanted to know the order in which Yasur had planned to peck
Though Twila and Rory each shared a vote tally of three
The torch's that Jeff snuffed belonged to Mia and John P.
Episode Four
by Michele Kevany
Eliza and Lisa were engaged in a squabble
Each felt the other was guilty of a wobble
Twila thought Yasur should focus instead
While Scout announced she was off to bed
His three votes at Tribal did not haunt Rory's slumber
He felt secure his alliance counted him as a number
John and Brady felt their chance to outlast would be squished
Which put John into maneuver mode and sent Brady out to fish
The survivors were anxious to reap the benefits of the next Reward
For twenty-four hours one tribe will have a native expert on board
Yasur matched more sets and won what could be the upperhand
They were "in awe" of Da as he kindly showed them how to live off the land
It was decided for Immunity Eliza and Rory would help solve their team's puzzle
Eliza did well but Rory might as well have been wearing a muzzle
Lopevi self-destructed, they could not get their act together
While Yasur triumphed again and basked in rainbow streaked weather
Back at camp John and Brady launched a last desperate scramble
The odds were not good as they had nothing left to gamble
The walk to Tribal Council was a stressful one for Rory
He assumed the voting again would follow a familiar story
This time the Lopevi men unanimously agree
The torch that Jeff snuffed belonged to Brady
Episode Five
by Michele Kevany
Chad was downwind of a fire pit fog
He felt Travis was being a hog with a log
Sarge wanted to rotate this comfortable seat
A plan of action Travis was unwilling to meet
Two native islanders paddled up to the team's shore
A tribemate "chief" will wear the staff and necklace they bore
For the men the name Sarge was the one they would tout
While the women all agreed that no doubt it was scout
Each tribe was then jolted by a powerful earthquake
Later to learn it wont be day eleven's only shake
The Reward Challange was preceded by tribal rearrangements
It was good for some while others felt doomed by their estrangements
Lopevi dove the best for a prize of chips and beer
Twila dug the fellows, she clicked and kicked it in good cheer
Ami thought Yasur sharing their secrets would not be cool
She did not want to hand Travis or Rory any survivor tool
At the start of the Immunity Challange Ami found she was wise to stay quiet
She learned Travis had betrayed them, no matter what he might say she wont buy it
The teams assembled an out-rigger from pieces placed in the jungle
They untied knots, lined up slots, and did their best not to bungle
Lopevi was stronger, they needed no power from their "Spirit Stone"
They gave their marker a tag, waved their flag, and took the idol home
At Tribal Council "Bubba" felt the heat for his transgression
He could not be viewed as trustworthy after his overt indiscretion
But the newly formed Yasur knew how to scrap this
The torch that Jeff snuffed belonged to Travis
Episode Six
by Michele Kevany
Scout felt Rory sat atop a "pitty pot" on night twelve
But he had a plan in which the next morning he would delve
With his days clearly numbered it was time for "no guts, no glory"
He wont be doing any of Yasur's work if Tribal sees the end of Rory
Twila helped the guys out with the work at Lopevi's camp
Julie thought she'd fair better if she played the role of vamp
Having ladies at Lopevi was an enhancer for Sarge's dreams
He spared his tribe the details, though it featured Julie so it seems
The Reward Challange had pigs for the survivors to corral
Another loss for Yasur did very little to boost their moral
Lopevi rejoiced at the feast that they would be able to make
They headed back to camp and each downed a juicy steak
Eliza told Ami she felt Scout was the reason she had blown it
Ami felt it was an excuse, Eliza screwed up so she should own it
The water course that was set up for the Immunity Challange was daunting
It took alot out of the tribemates, but for Leann it would become haunting
She had trouble under water which gave her opponents a commanding lead
After Lopevi won the idol, a miracle is what Leann felt she would need
But there was no cause for her to fret as a teammate had a plan
Ami knew who to gun for and it wasn't Leann or their Yasur man
Though innocence and loyalty to Ami is what Lisa pleaded
Rory knew it was "the crack...the fissure" that he needed
When Yasur made their hike Rory's anxiety was left behind
This time at Tribal Council he had some peace of mind
The memories of past visits went the way of amnesia
The torch that Jeff snuffed belonged to Lisa
Episode Seven
by Michele Kevany
On day sixteen Chris and Chad discussed John
Coasting and catnaps made them wish he was gone
At Yasur Rory began his day with a prayer
Rejoicing the fact that he was still there
He believed Yasur's plan was to dump the man
So he pled a case against Eliza to Ami and Leann
The Reward Challange brought coffee and news from afar
Don't spill the coconut juice, you'll need it for the jar
Despite Leann's tumble and with no help from Scout
Yasur won the croissants and gave out a team shout
At the "Home Cafe" coffee and rolls fed their souls
While photographs and letters took emotional tolls
Lopevi's Julie duped Twila into spilling the beans
Which led Twila to believe her pack had two teams
Skill with a sling-shot could keep Tribal at bay
Twenty tiles will decide who shall go, who shall stay
Rory depended on a win to keep his game alive
He knew he was the wheel in his group of five
The last shot Rory slung was in honor of his son
Thanks to his aim for Yasur Immunity was won
At Lopevi Chris got in the middle of John and Chad
He told both he felt keeping Julie might be bad
Chad got one vote at Tribal Council but did not hear "so long"
The torch that Jeff snuffed belonged to John
Episode Eight
by Michele Kevany
While around the campfire Julie was cuddling Sarge
Which made the remaining Lopevian eyes enlarge
But the rounding of the eyes came alittle too soon
For the next day Sarge treated his tribe to a "moon"
At Yasur Rory felt he'd joined a "worthless crew"
They had plantains to prepare and coffee to brew
Leann being cranky and Eliza's struggle with fire
Made a merge become Rory's number one desire
"Got milk" is what the Reward Challange would ask
Keeping water in their buckets would be their task
Lopevi lit the fire making the prize their's to take
They hiked back to camp and pigged out on cake
The next day they were sick from their chocolate splurge
But Jeff perked them up with the news they had merged
High fives and orange buffs made it seem a community
But their game face was on for the individual Immunity
They needed to capture three flags to ensure their stay
Sarge triumphed and on his neck Immunity will lay
Lopevi's camp was chosen as the place to play the game
After input from Scout they agreed "Alinta" be their name
Rory clued in the men about the women's plan of attack
They hoped Twila and Julie would still have their back
Chad argued numbers to Twila but she was uncertain
It was Rory for whom she and Julie hoped it was curtains
The men wanted Ami to be in the crosshairs of the gun
As they set off for Tribal Council on night twenty-one
The aftermath of this night will be accusatory
The torch that Jeff snuffed belonged to Rory
Episode Nine
by Michele Kevany
The mood at camp on night twenty-one was heated
Trust that was established now appeared depleted
The men felt their fate was nearing the chopping block
So the next day Twila and Sarge had a walk and a talk
Sarge cleared up for Twila her misconception of the guys
She was told she could trust them, that an alliance was wise
Ami wanted her tribe of women to put Sarge in their sights
She felt his strength in a challange could toughen their fight
Knowledge of Vanuatu culture would allow two to go
You'll enjoy a champagne picnic atop a sleeping volcano
To win Reward each hoped to avoid a ceremonial pyre
A pecking order was revealed as skulls were set afire
It was no surprise when the men became the first three out
Followed by an enraged Eliza who felt targeted by Scout
It was Leann who kept her head and captured the Reward
Her guest was Julie and a helicopter they climbed aboard
Their flight over the island showcased a spectacular scene
The Pacific's vast horizon framed by miles of lush green
When treemail was fetched Eliza was puzzled to find
Along with their clue came possession of a wee swine
The survivors must now care for this mysterious piggy
Which made a bloodthirsty Sarge act downright wiggy
Individual Immunity once again offered a ray of hope
Quickly mirror a pattern or you'll have reason to mope
One by one they fell as memory and fact were not the same
Ami will wear the necklace for the second time in the game
For Chris, Chad and Sarge a battle for survival was nigh
They felt disparaging Eliza might be a tact they should ply
A nervous Alinta arrived at Tribal Council number ten
Anxiety was strongest among the remaining three men
To unveil a player's mask Sarge gladly played stoolie
He told his tribe of trickery played on Twila by Julie
Jeff questioned Eliza about her anger toward Scout
Leann took on Julie and suddenly all hell broke out
The ladies and Chris dashed one dream of living large
The torch that Jeff snuffed belonged to Sarge
Episode Ten
by Michele Kevany
Night twenty-four's Tribal Council for Chris was hard
He told his tribe the reason why his vote was for Sarge
Sarge gave one last order since he felt he was leaving
The tribe might be believing, but Chris was deceiving
In the morning Chris and Chad were approached by Scout
These three knew they were badly in need of some clout
If Twila could join them a few more days might be bought
Then Eliza and Ami would become the targets they sought
The treemail's verse told them to bring along their pig
They hiked off for Reward hoping the prize would be big
An overnight visit with native islanders can be won
After the twist and turns of this challange are done
Two tribes of four would select one scarificial lamb
They would need to unleash them and tag a tam tam
Julie and Eliza were chosen as the easiest to untangle
In the end a journey is what Eliza's team would wrangle
After a flight they were driven to a remote location
A greeting from the natives made it a warm destination
Alinta's pig was then offered in a buff the color of lava
The got a pig in return along with large bowls of Kava
The natives sang and stomped a rhythm with their feet
The survivors danced along keeping time with the beat
It appeared the local Kava went straight to Chad's head
He said goodnight to the celebration and went to bed
Ami was touched by the singing of the island children
Each will carry memories of the world they have dwelled in
When they returned to Alinta's camp the following day
Their teammates begrudgingly heard what they had to say
By the looks on their faces it might have seemed like a bore
But that was exhaustion from a downpour the night before
Any fatigue or hangovers better be recovered in time
For once again individual Immunity was on the line
With hopes to stay in the game each player clung to a pole
Try to hold on tight and avoid that fateful downward roll
Julie, Chris and Scout were out followed by Ami, Eliza and Leann
Until only Twila remained along with the other Alinta man
Although Chad gave his all his strength was clearly worn
Twila won Immunity and her neck the idol shall adorn
Back at camp Scout and Ami disagreed about Eliza's fate
Scout wanted her gone but Ami felt that they should wait
Chad asked Twila and Scout if their plan was still in action
He hoped Ami wasn't in control of an all-woman faction
They headed off into the night for ceremony number eleven
The end result will be an Alinta tribe counting seven
At this Tribal Council another man will be had
The torch that Jeff snuffed belonged to Chad
Episode Eleven
by Michele Kevany
Chris was fireside with Ami, Eliza, Julie and Leann
He informed the ladies about Scout and Twila's plan
Chris hoped to cause trouble with what he had to profess
After he threw in his wrench he said "it's gonna be a mess"
Feeling cautious Leann and Ami will have to sort this out
They'll be having a conversation with both Twila and Scout
The Reward Challange was preceded by internet connections
The survivors were allowed one minute for expressions of affection
A longer visit can be won if your facts are up to par
You will need to recall details of the game thus far
Eliza did the best and will have her mother for the night
Alinta was overjoyed when loved ones came into sight
Before they returned to camp there were hugs for everyone
Leann and Julie greeted friends and Twila embraced her son
Scout and Ami were happy to see their significant other
Chris held his bride to be and Eliza hiked off with her mother
Leann and Ami talked to Scout and Twila separately
Each swore their allegeance was where it should be
But Ami and Leann gave them both cause to worry
Scout decreed "vengeance is mine sayeth the jury"
Eliza's mom asked the tribe not to double-dip their snack
And before she left she gave Eliza the shirt off her back
The players will have some help in winning Immunity
A victory will depend on the strength of your unity
The loved ones reappeared but for more than a nuzzle
Wearing a blindfold they will each help solve a puzzle
The survivors called out directions and hoped for the best
But Ami and her girlfriend were clearly faster than the rest
Although Chris and his fiance did their utmost to win
Ami will be wearing the Immunity necklace once again
On day thirty Twila advised Chris of a new way to play
She said recruiting Eliza could help the two of them stay
With Scout on board they will be a majority of four
And Alinta's all-woman faction will be no more
Chris talked to Eliza, who was confounded with doubt
She wasn't too sure she could trust Twila and Scout
Chris did his best to convince her it was the right move
She was targeted so his advise would be wise to behoove
At Tribal Council Jeff mentioned the vibe of the tribe
He questioned if the comradery might be contrived
Eliza felt her Tribal fate was in constant suspension
Chris stated that among the six women there was tension
Leann told Jeff she was feeling safe from the vote
Any possibility of an ouster she viewed as remote
But voting will not always go according to plan
The torch that Jeff snuffed belonged to Leann
Episode Twelve
by Michele Kevany
Tribal Council's aftermath saw anger, blame and shame
Ami said she'd play with all her heart to stay in the game
She criticised Twila harshly for swearing on her son
Saying that was something she could never have done
Ami deflected her own betrayal in hopes of gaining latitude
Scout told her she disapproved of Ami's "cocky" attitude
Living with five "wildcats", Chris liked where he stood
Night thirty's spats had him saying "it's gonna be good"
If the ladies continue to tear out eachothers hair
Perhaps they will not notice that Chris is still there
The prize for this next Reward was the grandest by far
With aquatic skills and balance you could drive a new car
An overnight stay at a resort can also be won
For the first three that can get this challenge done
Each survivor did their best to win by all means
As they crossed out-riggers, platforms and balance beams
Eliza won the pontiac when she placed her third flag
Followed by Ami and Chris who had the resort in the bag
They drove to a paradise on a Vanuatu shore
Eager to partake of all the rewards in store
Ami apologized to Eliza from the bottom of her heart
In "Scout and Twila's nastiness" she wished she hadn't taken part
Ami's forceful campaign on Eliza was working Chris' nerves
While on the beach sipping drinks and eating hors d'oeuvres
His hope was that Eliza would stay "mentally strong"
The tension was lifted when Vanuatu ladies sang a song
Ami told the two of them they needed to break up Twila and Scout
Chris could only surmise that Ami must think he's a lout
Considering Twila's gameplay and Scout's physical condition
He viewed these two as perfect for a final four competition
As long as Ami doesn't sway Eliza's allegiance somehow
"They" can go ahead and write those checks out right now
The three returned to Alinta in the early morning hours
They were rested, fed and smelling good from their showers
Twila wanted to be certain that Eliza wont be swaying
Mindful of the strong game that Ami has been playing
She swore their alliance was where Eliza's trust should be placed
Though Eliza wondered if Scout and Twila might not be two-faced
Ami felt Scout had put cayenne pepper in her pants
Chris and Twila worried about Ami's chance to advance
An Immunity loss was something not one could afford
As they met up with Jeff to play "Survivor" shuffleboard
Though each did their best to slide a hit and not a miss
This time the Immunity necklace will be worn by Chris
Twila hoped that Ami would not cause Eliza's vote to swing
By swearing on her son she felt truth in her words might not ring
Jeff awaited them at Tribal Council, the ritual set to begin
The survivors placed their torchs and the jury filed in
Ami once again expressed how Twila's oath had made her sad
Twila said "get over it, grow up, get on with it, you've been had"
Chris, Scout and Twila hoped this night would be Ami's last
But there was much anxiety as to how the votes would be cast
Though she played an admirable game up till night thirty-three
The torch that Jeff snuffed belonged to Ami
Episode Thirteen
by Michele Kevany
After Ami's departure they arrived back at camp
Chris hoped to lay low but Twila turned up the amp
Eliza and Julie felt Twila's words were harsh and mean
Alinta was not peaceful after Tribal Council thirteen
Chris felt Twila's anger could do her game damage
Julie said she'd use this outburst to her advantage
Day thirty-four's Reward challange would be the game last
You'll have a second chance to master challanges from the past
In four elimination rounds do your best not to be slow
The winner and a guest will eat hot dogs aside a volcano
The first obstacle they'll encounter will be the mud crawl
Followed by wee pigs to be caught and placed in a stall
Next untie a Tiki puzzle and assemble the pieces correctly
Cross a beam and with a sling-shot hit three tiles directly
After round one it was Scout who did not make it through
In round two Eliza again found catching pigs hard to do
Overlooking a puzzle piece had Chris out in round three
The competition was now between Twila and Julie
Though she injured her foot Twila gave it her best shot
Julie smashed her tiles first and earned the top spot
Jeff informed her she now had a decision to make
Which of her four tribemates would she like to take
She thought it ironic how none would have chosen her
It was Chris she picked to accompany her to Mt. Yasur
She was happy about the hot dogs and volcanic eruptions
But she hoped to sway Chris into some tribal disruptions
They met their guide Joe and on horseback they went
To cook hot dogs in the steam of a volcanic vent
At Alinta Twila would not tell Eliza where the bananas were
Eliza thought Twila's behavior was obnoxious and immature
On Yasur Chris and Julie hiked off into the dark night
Where along with Joe they beheld a phenomenal sight
Spectacular eruptions set ablaze the Vanuatu sky
Chris likened it to fireworks on the fourth of July
When they returned to camp the following day
Julie hoped Chris had listened to what she had to say
She wanted him and Eliza to make Twila the next to go
Though Chris agreed he also told Scout that all was status quo
The Immunity challange came with a story to retain
Recall facts about Roy Mata and three more days you will gain
Assemble a question and then answer it for a tusk that is white
If you pull out a black tusk it means you did not get it right
One outshone all in remembering details of lore
Eliza won herself a spot in the final four
Back at camp Twila came upon Eliza talking to Chris
Eliza felt a chance to vote off Twila should not be missed
Chris reassured Julie and Eliza that he would not swing
Then proceeded to tell Scout and Twila the very same thing
They arrived at Tribal Council to oust the fourteenth survivor
Julie and Twila both wondered with whom Chris would conspire
Though she hoped his words had been spoken truly
The torch that Jeff snuffed belonged to Julie
Finale Part 1
by Michele Kevany
On night thirty-six Eliza had her nose out of joint
Twila told her "everybody's used you up to this point"
Eliza let Chris know she felt he had broken his word
Chris advised Eliza that now was not the time to be heard
The next day Chris told Eliza that Julie was a player
Julie had to go and Eliza's trust in him should not waver
Time came for the fourteenth Immunity challenge in thirty-seven days
You'll be closer to the million if you win the "Survivor Vertical Maze"
Collect sets of wooden tiles that have been strung about
Once you're up and over you'll want to be down and out
Unscramble the tiles and hope that two words you'll see
Chris won Immunity when he spelled out "final" and "three"
Back at camp Chris, Scout and Twila shared an embrace
The ladies each had a big smile on their face
But elsewhere Eliza was wearing a similar grin
Chris had her believing she would be going with him
Twila wont let her guard down in this game of tag
She asked Chris if she should be packing her bag
He told Twila that calming down was what she needed to do
To Eliza he said to have faith and see their pact through
Chris contemplated his alliances with each of the women
He knows he's chosen unpredictable waters to swim in
Eliza told Scout who she thought should be voted out
When they left for Tribal Council Eliza had little doubt
Though believing this night was the end for Twila
The torch that Jeff snuffed belonged to Eliza
Chris, Scout and Twila hiked back to Alinta's campsite
They gazed up at the stars lighting the Vanuatu night
In the morning Jeff arrived with a plan for their day
The three need to board their out-rigger and paddle away
An island known as "Hat" is where they will be landing
They'll find the torches of fellow players no longer standing
While passing each torch a look back they took
At the fallen survivors beginning with Brook
Though eager to play only three days would he last
Followed by Dolly who made her votes easy to cast
John P. was the next player to get his torch snuffed
That same night went Mia because Yasur'd had enough
When Brady left he resumed his duties with the FBI
After Bubba's loud disclosure we figured his time was nigh
Lisa lost her shot when she became curious about the manioc
If John K. had worked harder perhaps time could have been bought
After much of the same story Tribal finally claimed Rory
Sarge might have shown guts, but he was out with no glory
Chad did well throughout and showed great determination
Leann became a juror by offering up too much information
When Ami departed Scout said lightening had struck a tree
Then Julie became the next victim Tribal Council would see
They reach Eliza's torch remembering all she had to say
Perhaps it still echoed in their heads from the previous day
The three had one more "rite of passage" and it didn't include Kava
They must now pay their respects to the burial site of Roy Mata
Finale Part 2
by Michele Kevany
For their next task Chris, Scout and Twila had a somber tone
Standing at Roy Mata's grave Chris offered the "Spirit Stone"
Scout and Twila rested the staffs they had brought along
After their respects had been paid Scout sang a song
The time for their final Immunity challange was at hand
While striking a "warrior pose" see how long you can stand
Control your bow and arrow or your game could be through
The victorious one will decide who shall be in the final two
Scout fell off her posts, then only Chris and Twila remained
Chris did not like hearing Scout cheer Twila on in her game
He asked Twila if it was safe for either of them to step down
In her endearing Twila way she said he'd better stick around
At one hour seven minutes Twila's arrow pierced her paper
She now hoped that to the final two Chris would take her
Back at Alinta Chris wondered about Scout cheering twila on
He was curious if the women had a "final two" deal all along
He questioned Twila about her choice had he fallen down
She reassured him she had intended to keep him around
Wanting to confirm Twila's story he had a talk with Scout
She told him she and Twila had a "final four" pact throughout
They walked to Tribal Council on night thirty-eight
Chris wore the necklace and will steer the game's fate
Jeff greeted the survivors and the jury entered in
This penultimate Tribal Council was about to begin
Jeff asked Chris what his lone vote would be based on
Chris felt both Twila and Scout had been playing strong
His focus however was what would be best for his game
He walked off to the voting area to write down one name
Tonight's Tribal victim displayed what class is about
The torch that Jeff snuffed belonged to Scout
Day thirty-nine Chris and Twila had outlasted the rest
Which had Chris perplexed as to why he was feeling stress
Although he had been hoping he would be able to relax
He was concerned about the questions the jury might ask
Chris hoped Twila would be a hot-head when the questions came around
When the two sat in their hammock they both came crashing down
The last two survivors hiked away from their island home
Each hoped the title "sole survivor" would be all their own
The story of "Survivor Vanuatu" would soon be complete
They were greeted by Jeff who had them each take a seat
The jury entered the ceremony in the order voted out
Sarge, Chad, Leann and Ami, Julie, Eliza and Scout
Jeff said that with opening statements the evening's ritual would begin
Chris and Twila each took turns telling the jury why they should win
Chris mentioned the odds he overcame to make the final two
Twila said she played for her son and did what she had to do
Jeff informed them their jury now had questions to ask
Twila and Chris hoped they would not take them to task
First came Eliza who felt Twila's integrity needed mocking
She then told Chris she viewed all his lies as just shocking
With teary eyes Julie told Chris how she felt about their dealings
She said her "big brother" had given her a case of hurt feelings
Leann came next and asked Twila about her deceptive plan
To Chris she inquired why she should give her vote to a man
Ami said Twila had her trust since the day the game had begun
But was left with no respect for her after Twila swore on her son
Chad asked the two how playing the game had changed them
But Sarge only seemed interested in causing some mayhem
Scout finished by saying of Twila she has a good impression
As opposed to Chris who was up to his ears in a bovine expression
Jeff then told the final two they will have their last say
Each hoped that these words might send a vote their way
Twila said she was sorry for the things she had done wrong
Chris admitted he had lied but said it was gameplay all along
The jury cast their votes and Tribal Council was through
Jeff collected the voting urn and off in a plane he flew
Which of the final two has prevailed they do not know
They are going to have to wait until the final live show
After jumping from a plane and taking a motorcycle ride
Jeff arrived at CBS studios with the voting urn at his side
He stepped onto a reproduction of Vanuatu's Tribal Council setting
In a few moments a million dollars either Chris or Twila will be getting
Jeff announced the player that had the most votes cast
The one who did the best to outplay, outwit and outlast
With a vote of five to two this victory brought bliss
The winner of "Survivor Vanuatu" was Chris!
